Lemon

What a difference a year makes. Last year, these frit were small, and really not worth eating. This year they are 4 times larger, and very sweet with a light butterscotch taste.

The last two 'cut' pictures make it look honey yummy.

The reflection of the sugars in that last pic is amazing it looks as though you poured honey on it. Great looking fig and pic

Looks juicy!  Mmmm...  wish I can grow one like that...

A very nice looking fig!  Is it related to the  Marseilles?
Looks very different fom my Marseilles (EL).

Funny...

A while back ago, I bought a [E: foreign] car that ended up being a real 'lemon'.
[E: since then, now I am still happy with my 10yr+ old 4 wheeler - a domestic Ford].

Next, I wanted a good lemon (a potted-tree) and I bought an Improved
Meyer lemon. It turned out that it is not a REAL lemon! It is
just a 'sweet' hybrid that tastes anything other than the classical sour TRUE lemon!
It does not even have the nipple...

Go FIGure...
