I started the cuttings last year so trees a bit young,taste sweet and a bit rich better than the Black Genoa next too it.

I'm with Aaron I assumed Lemon would mean it was a yeller fig...

The variety database on this site has some pics of lemon figs... and they are yellow on the outside...

one of them looks like dell'Osso, the long one, are they both from same tree mocatta?

If you can show leaves we might be able to help you.  The fig is certainly mislabeled.  There are some Melanzana figs that can look like that.

you started the cuttings last year and you had fruit already. that's is amazing to me... although , they look two different varieties, one has yellow inside and it has a bump shaped like 8 and the other one has a pinkish red inside and has a regular fig shape. Could it be that you have two different cuttings in same pot?

My Lemon (oblate; skin: shiny, pale green with slight yellow cast, very much like a green tomato or tomatillo; meat: clear, blushing caramel when approaching over-ripeness). lemon.jpg

In Austraila all figs r misnamed the fig there is called a Lemon Lennie sorry so if any one can id it that would be good,Aaron4usa there two different trees the black genoa is a popular fig in Austraila like a Brown Turkey i was just showing the shape.

 but still, it's amazing to me that you got fruit within a year. I hope I get some varieties like that. I am receiving my main cutting order in a month, 60 varieties. so, as you showed in the pic, if I get several varieties that fruit fast i'll be so ecstatic ;)

Aaron i see u have a Black Mission the one i have i also stated last year and it just loves to pump out fruit but some varieties r very slow, im new too this like u but i think in pots u get more fruit than in ground some times a waste off space.

most figs will put on the fig on the first yr that the cutting is rooted. typically, most members will knock them off since the quality of the fig won't be good. there are few like St. Rita, and Niagara Blk that will have amazing taste from the start.

Bullet08 i agree cause near the eye it was very sweet but the bottom bit bland cause off the shape hope it gets better in time and bigger fruit.

Only 14,800sf lot with a house , i have put several in the ground but new ones (which are going to be close to 60 varieties or close to 180-200 cuttings) will be in starter 1 quart nursery pots and then to 1 gallon, 3 gallon, 5 gallon and up and up as they grow bigger. 
I have my eye on this vacant lot up on the hillside that is suitable for figs and grapes because it overlooks south-west, perfect for mediterranean fruits. then they all will be in ground growing freely on the hillside.

yes i have BM from last Aug cutting, it's already 3 foot tall, but i'm starting more BMs this season along with all others.
