We have been so lucky to have the California Rare Fruit Grower scion exchanges here. What a great way to lift the winter blues. San Jose was a treasure trove, they really limited you to only one scion each, that way more visitors got to find the more scarce varieties. There were of course those figs that I had hoped to find but did not. But I was wondering if those of you that might have a tree of a proven variety that could stand the trimming of a cutting, then I would gladly swap for one that I obtained from USDA there.
My wish list: Italian 258, Ponte Tresa, Vasilika sika, Genovese Nero, Abebereira, Maltese Falcon, Kathleen's Black, or Any Extra-Tasty Variety!
