Let's Make a (Fig) Deal!

We have been so lucky to have the California Rare Fruit Grower scion exchanges here.  What a great way to lift the winter blues.  San Jose was a treasure trove, they really limited you to only one scion each, that way more visitors got to find the more scarce varieties.  There were of course those figs that I had hoped to find but did not. But I was wondering if those of you that might have a tree of a proven variety that could stand the trimming of a cutting, then I would gladly swap for one that I obtained from USDA there.

My wish list:    Italian 258,   Ponte Tresa,   Vasilika sika,   Genovese Nero,    Abebereira,     Maltese Falcon,    Kathleen's Black,  or Any Extra-Tasty Variety!

The Santa Rosa scion exchange of the Calif Rare Fruit Growers was even bigger and better than San Jose!  If this keeps up, I'm going to overdose on great figs!  It really was bigger... literally!   Many of the fig cuttings were close to 24" long, so I have a rooting start, and I can pass them along to you in trade as well.  A win - win!!

Thank you for all of the wonderful trades.  I've updated the first post to reflect the cuttings available.

I'm a little confused here.
Are you still trading for figs? If so, what figs are you still asking for? Or are you just selling them now.

I'm not selling, still just trading.  I'm trying to expand my waistline, not my pocketbook!

This is still real new to me.  At first I put up some suggestions that looked good in the reviews, but maybe few people have those?  So, I'm open to just really good flavored figs.  I don't care for those that are just sweet, but rather that are very powerfully flavored.

  Thanks.

Thank you for the great trades!  There will be wonderful figs growing here for ages to come!
