Figs in paradise, today.


Oh my gosh Jon!  Wow!  That is awesome!

What kind of fig is that with all the aerial roots, benghalensis?

Do you not keep your figs in full sun?

The "air roots" are a passiflora on a trellis.

Young plants get filtered light, and are gradually moved to full sun. These are 1g and 2g plants from last season, and 5 g plants in my collection. 15g plants are out of the pix to the right.

They are sharing with the bananas, cherimoya, etc.

Sans the hose, it may have looked like a path in the Garden of Eden.  Looks like plenty of fig leaves to go around. :-)
