light green babies

I received my FIRST EVER fig babies last Friday and transplanted them into large clear cups that I poked a bunch of holes into. They are not sitting in any standing water but the soil seems quite damp even after a week.  The Miracle Grow potting soil measured a little higher than 6.5 Ph so I added a little  limestone (granular).
One of the two plants grew over an inch within the first week, the other grew a little.
Yesterday I put them outside for a few hours to acclimate them to the central Ohio weather.
The reason that I'm writing is because the sprouting leaves are pale green which looks sickly to me.  I'm thinking that they should be darker green if they are healthy, but it's my first dance.
I hope to not kill my first plants.
This is the purchase detail if it matters

HELP!!!

The light green is normal at this stage.  As it matures, the newer leaves will be darker.  Once it acclimates outside, the leaves will absorb more light.

Mark...when you put those tender little trees outside for the first time, be careful not to over do it...too much sun at an early stage will burn the leaves and cause them to go from dark green to light green...how do I know this?...I put 24 plants on my deck last Saturday, and gave them a good sun burn...I think they will live...I hope they will live.
