Lisa's figs UK

hello fig addicts,
I had a chance to meet Lisa mallah at her beautiful home in London. We also visited her 3 allotments and had s chance to see her collection. Now Lisa sell fig trees and she collect most of them from mainland Europe and also propagating by herself. She got so many fig trees that she had to rent more than one allotment to keep them. Now we were just planning to buy two CDD's noir and Blanche , however Lisa kindly offered to show us around her plots. So I took some pictures and I apologise in advance that these are not high quality pics, I took them with my phone. I will be visiting her soon to buy more in later in autumn.
Vinny

Sorry mate, bit late reply . Yes she did mention about her trees in Portugal, I'm still waiting for a Figo Preto from her.

Cheers

Wow, amazing to see so many trees in what looks like atiny area.

Wow! Holy tabolee! That's a lot of great looking trees. Any idea of how long she has been growing Figs? And how many? Really amazing. Great pics. Thank you for sharing with us.

Jodi,

She got a farm in Portugal as far as I know. Plus three rented allotments where she grow some trees in ground. I'm not sure how many she got now as I visited her last summer, but I've known her through forums before that. She also sells quiet a lot of varieties for a decent price.

Thanks

Alan, I would say that a vacation to either place would be justifiable :-)

Yea you are right Alan , especially in non English speaking countries it's very difficult to follow road signs, so you might aswell take some time off before making plans . But you'll definitely enjoy it.

Liza is my BFF! I wish I could go visit her!
