My dear bro' is spending a few months in Calabria, (lucky guy)  visiting with his in-laws and he sent me this photo of one of the local fig trees. No details but was so impressed with how loaded it was. This early in the year, I can't imagine them being anything but brebas.

Wish I was there.

Hey Mike, I sent you an IM regarding another cultivar.
Yes the CN is going gangbusters in a one gallon pot already. The leaves are magnolia-like. I hope we get to see what the fruit looks like soon.
A thread from Nelson indicated that it was similar to Sicilian Red. I hope not.

Wow, that's a sight for sore eyes.  Tell him to eat all the brebas off a few branches and bring them home.

I get all excited over just a very few brebas on my Celeste.  I probably couldn't take that at all.
