logistics.

when you have so much space.. logistics becomes rather.. muddy. so this is more for myself.. sort of note to remind me what i need to do.

move the 1 gal in humidity bin out side. move all the cups with good growth into one bin. move all the new cutting in the short bin into the larger bin and new cuttings into the short bin.

need ton of 1 gals and about 20 3 gal pots. 10 10 gals.

need to get this done before march is over.. and i have two backpacking trip..

You should make your own pots from dead tree stumps.

i'm sure there are easier ways.. that doesn't involve curving out the dead stumps :)

Hi Bullet08,
I'm sure in 2 years you will complain about having too much figs getting ripe and crawling under the bucket loaded with figs :P
For now the solution is easy : give the trees away :) - you'll make some happy people and don't start new cuttings.
But I'm sure your fridge is full of cuttings, you forgot to mention. Hey man, they wait for you to root them ! Hurry ! :) you're running late !

giving away is not easy. shipping cost money. also, i wouldn't want to dump things i do not want on others... what sort of gift is that? "i don't want this tree. it doesn't do well and i was gonna dump it, but here it is..."

i don't store cuttings, and no longer have a wish list.

this winter was going to be really quiet winter, however, there were some amazing cuttings that came up due to very generous forum members. space or no space, can't refuse those.

having trees take space. but once the trees are in place, figs are no problem. i can eat them. it kinda hard to chew the trees.

Pete, one man's junk is another man's treasure. If you post a list of what you have, and ask for shipping/potting/your time costs, people will buy them if they desire them.
You may not like the figs, but others would be happy to have them.
There's no shame in recuperating some of your costs, you're not forcing anybody to buy them.
As long as there's photos, you should be able to sell your unwanted figs easily. You're a trusted member of this forum.

How many times has Martin turned paleface figs into ashes?
There's hundreds of members saying "NOOOOOOO! I would have taken it!"
