Longue d'Aout breba

This has to be one of the best BIG figs out there. My wife and I really enjoyed it. It was sweet and juicy.
We gave it a 7 out of 10. Really good for a breba.

Looks Great, Unbelievable Size, Thanks for Sharing.

WOW!! Beautiful Fig!! :)

that's one big fig!

Art,

this is one huge Breba omg!

Fantastic, i love the look of L'd A in general, but this is outstanding.

The fig is big like you are living in Turkey or something and not in a northern climate!

what are you feeding this tree? OMG that is an awesome looking fig!  I had no luck rooting this kind, but my hero Slavi did and he said this is a great fig to have.

Beautiful!  Keep doing whatever you are doing.

Wow!  My in ground LdA is the strongest grower of the bunch.  I 'think' fig embryos are forming, which would be such a treat, as I've never tasted it.

Art,

Can you post photos of the dominant leaf form of Longue d'Aout?

Thanks in advance,   kiwibob,   Seattle

Nice fig- yep that's Longue D'Aout!

Art,

You cheapened that fig by laying it on the 20 break out the 100

Mine's 3' tall and not a single fig.  :(

Art, what a beauty. Another for my wish list

Wow that looks great.  Yum

Wow! With figs that size you wouldn't need too many to make a fig pizza!

Its main crop taste better but not as large.

Nice. Looking forward to gretting fruit from ours in the future

kiwibob, Here's a picture of the leaf pattern.

Hi Kubota1,
Nice figs !
My lda figtree decided on her own to not make brebas this year, although she'd got no winter damage.
two or three weeks ago, a dozen figlets appeared ... Let's hope she will raise them till they are ripe ... Lda has really a special and distinctive taste compared to the other figs .

Here's a picture of mine in Connecticut Yours are ahead of mine I still have a ways to go before they get ripe  P1010768 copy.JPG

nice fig!

Mine  is tiny, but at least it pulled through it's first winter. Now I can look forward to eating figs off twenty-dollar bills!
