how many dark beers? well.. i always keep case of Guinness at home. but i don't have any porters x) 

will let you know what turns out soon. still have my CdDB and CdDN. just wanting to complete the 3 CdDs before looking for other CdD. i mean.. CdDB just blew me away this yr. they are going into 20 gal in spring for the front of the house along with Niagara Black. 

Pete, did you ever buy Pons' book?  There are at least a couple more CdDs in there! :)

 

CdD Rimada looks like an interesting one too - a Col De Dame with Panache-like stripes.

I hope he prints it in English too.

spanish is ok, but english would work better. some of the information in the book was hard to translate for me. it's been awhile since i spoke spanish.

Rafed, one blessing deserves another.  Are you still in need of Papa John?  If you bless Pete, I will bless you.  Papa John is one of those figs that doesn't get the air time it deserves.  It's a Greek fig and most folks don't know its story.  I guess the name throws some people off!  HA...go figure!  What's in a figs' name!  One taste from Papa John will have you thinking about giving your Hardy Chicago to the hogs!  HA!

I've got one planted in my orchard and a backup in a large pot.  The taste is richer than Hardy Chicago with strong berry overtones.  I haven't had a Greek fig I did NOT like!  BUT , PJ is a keeper!  Send me a PM Rafed.  I want nothing in return.  Just be a good friend.  Be blessed!

you might as well send the Papa John to rafed :) he's tree is not ready for the cuttings yet. so while his tree is getting ready, i'm still looking around :)

not a negotiation. more like bantering among the members who has been here for a while. i want CdDG, but not in any hurry. some times, good fun is as good as good figs. 

ok. i have one rooted CdDG coming. but i can use one additional plant for a back up. if you want to off load couple of cuttings, let me know. if this yr is as bad as last, i can definitely use a back up. 

ok, two coming. i'm a happy dog :) set and set.
