DFIC 118-128

I got mine from Jon (Encanto). I would be suprised if he did not have them available this year. I'll happily share cuttings of mine once they are big enough, but they are not quite there yet.

I have Enderub assuming it has survived our last cold spell. "Edible caprifig" I have collected pollen from it and tried to pollinate other figs to get fertile seeds, but no luck yet. Enderubcut.jpg

Scott that is a cool pic

I've only been able to get 4 confirmed persistent caprifigs from the USDA database.  They list Roeding #3, for example, as caducous.

Here's the 4

DFIC 6 - P - UCR 347-1
DFIC 8 - P - UCR 228-20  Enderud
DFIC 10 - P - UCR 271-1  Saleeb
DFIC 126 - P - Capri Q

Then there's DFIC 127 - P - Capri S which is listed as persistent in 1 survey and caducous in another.  Then there are some in your list which aren't in the USDA database.

I went through the database and here's what I found.  - means not there, no obs means they don't tell whether it's persistent or caducous, P is persistent, C is Caducous.

118-128 sounds more like a UCR # oreven an LSU # than a DFIC #.  Either way, it's not in the USDA database.
