New to fig growing, I've had 2 trees survive in my cellar over winter, small Chicago Brown, died & came back with a sprout. The other is unknown, given to me when I stayed at a B&B that got me started. This spring I picked up a Celeste, LSU Purple & Brown Turkey when passing a nursery in Virginia. They are all in Pots as they will go back to the cellar after dormancy. I have fruit on all those from VA. but some shrivels and falls from the Celeste, might be berba that started late. The LSU makes lots of fruit. They stay on a very sunny porch & I don't think I watered enough early on. I would like to meet with any other nearby growers of figs to learn more and share knowlege.I'd like for this to not become something I did once, it seems like it has hooked me in. Wife flipped when I told her I was gonna order 4 more. "WHAT?" I just need some light colored figs to compliment these I told her. Currently they're on hold for now, but i've decided on Green Ischau, Italian White, Kadota & Nero Ceasar. I live in Northwest Pennsylvania South of Erie, 100 mi North of Pittsburgh. THANKS
