Hello Fig Friends. I have been searching for this particular fig for a while now. I have seen it for sale on EBay only a few times and each time the seller was from Greece and would not ship it the USA. Does anyone have one I could buy? I am willing to pay a fair price for this beautiful fig. I would be interested in a live plant or cuttings. My goal is to obtain all of the royal greek figs and this is the last one for me to get. Thank you.
Unknown figs from Perth australia look similar to vasolika melissi figs....

Palermo are you in Tarpon Springs? Lots of Greeks and Greek figs there. There is a member who will have Vasilika Melissi this summer.
Tarpon springs is about 30 minutes north of me. Good point. I will search for a fig gathering there online. I have this tree now. It's still a baby but growing pretty well. Thanks to a fabulous fig member!
Hello kkk2210 I have been trying desperately to find vasilika which is my favorite fig from a small boy going to Greece. We went to Greece two years ago and I brought back two vasilika cuttings that I cut from the town that my mom is from which is known for vasilika. But being new to fig growing I was inexperianced at the time in cuttings and it did not root. Now I have more knowledge but don't think we are making a trip to Greece for already a few more years. If you do have any cuttings I will do or pay anything you want. Very very much would appreciate
Telly,I see you are in Toronto. I'm just down the 401 near London and have Vasilika Melissi from Greece also. I can likely spare a couple cuttings this fall. Mine has a couple figs on it this year for the first time. PM me if you like..Tyler
NP Telly... I sent you a pm. Pictures here have a maximum file size that you can post. You can just edit them in microsoft picture manager or similar software and resize it down to within the limit.Tyler
