I have a large tree. Let me know if you are needing any.

Is it Originating from Wuhan one of the cities in China ?

Sunriver,
I haven't taken a picture of it .
Mine is young , I  haven't had the fruit yet.
I bet others have pictures , if not , I will try to get to it tomorrow.
Pictures are probably on Encanto Farms Nursery's   Fig Varieties Pages.

Hard to tell if same (Wuhan).
Yes, some of my fruit do shallow-split around the eye (none soured).
The leaves are mostly with 0 or 3 lobes (fingers) and the edges are
highly serrated (like a wood saw blade).
I do have a leaf pic somewhere, but right now, I cannot find it...

Gorgi,

What are the traits of this fig variety. Does not look like a normal dark variety with the yellow insides.

Chinese figs

How do they taste?

It taste good !

Does any one has Wuhan fruit fig tree that I can buy few cutting from.  Thanks; Azam

Hi American friends. I guess wuhan means 武漢-武汉..

(It's a same letter, first one is traditional Chinese(繁體) and second one is simplified Chinese(简体))

and in Asia, Many peoples reads/pronounce same letter differently...

Chinese: wuhan, wuxan or wusan

Korean: muhan

Japanese: bukan... (and in Korea, Bukhan means North Korea)

all same letter but different accent & intonation. It's not an easy job to learn Asian Language haha!

This is Wuhan fig tree I got from a F4F member in 2009.  It has been eaten to the ground by deer and now is repotted for a second chance.  The white dots are bird doo, near on of my feeders.  The leaves are serrated.  No fruit yet, maybe this year.

I'm wanting this fig as well. I hope I can get some cuttings this winter. Thanks for the pictures.

@sirlampsalot Do you have a lot of problems with dear eating fig trees?

Deer or some other varmits, ground hog, etc, have eaten fig tree leaves and in winter, the tender limbs.  They kept my Wuhan and a Neveralla fig tree trimmed so close to the ground that the Neveralla died and I dug and potted the Wuhan.  These trees as well as some hybrid small chestnut trees, which also died were about 200 yards from the house.  Solution, move the fig trees closer to the house so my Border Collie can ride herd on the deer.  Now wild turkeys are nesting near where the fig trees were dug. My dog and I watch the turkeys and we are now both happy.

I have wuhan in 4x9" pots. They are a new crop, about 3" tall now (good size to ship). I could trade for cuttings I don't have. PM me

I have some wuhan fig planted in  polybags - 8 months old, about 4ft tall and are fruiting. To ship oversea, advisable grafting or cutting.
