Losing a fig tree?

I'm wondering what you experts have done about fig rust and how successful you have been in getting rid of it. Or controling it. I have been using worm tea and it seems to have controlled it to some degree but I know it will come back so I want to get opinions on what has worked best. Ivwould be devastated to lose any of my tiny trees and it just looks like a very serious disease to me.

Thanks for your help!

I had a bad case of rust this season.  I plan on treating my trees with Bonide Copper Fungicide.  I am going to spray my inground trees before I cover them and spray my container trees before bringing them into the garage for the winter.

Liquid Copper Conc.

I'm not so sure that's fig rust, or rather, the intervainal necrosis is not typical for fig rust. Fig rust is usually distributed more evenly and then you'll get edge necrosis and yellowing and leaf drop.
Symptoms look more like mg-deficiency or salt burn to me.

Here's a PDF on fig rust:

Raise thousands of seedlings, wet the leaves nightly, throw away the worst affected.  Repeat for 10 years.
