Ed, I've not been very active in the forum and didn't know about your father's illness until now.  I can only imagine the pain of suffering so many difficulties and then the death of your father must be tough.  May your memories, faith, and friends help you through this tough time.

Ed,
Sorry to hear about your loss. My father passed away last year, 92 years 10 months, it was a good run.
Sounds like you have some challenges right now but some time goes by and you remember the good stuff.
Make sure you take the help offered by friends and family and take care of your own health.
Give everyone an update in a few months when things are more settled and I'm sure some of the rare figs can be replaced.
Good Luck

John Galvin

Ed,  I'm so very sorry for your loss-Some heavy losses this year.  It's good you had your parents with you for so long and that's a blessing.  Mike's Dad died at 90 and just this year, his mom, three months shy of 95.

The longer we have our parents with us, the harder it is when they leave this Earth, is what Mike and I realized, but there's no good time for them to leave us.

My heart goes out to you in this year of loss for you and your family.  God bless and keep you all in His loving care,

noss
