Lost my St Anthony cuttings

I rooted about 25 varieties of figs this year and the variety I most want to add to my collection, St Anthony, is the only one that I couldn't get rooted.  Is there any chance that someone has a stick or two still left?  Funny how the disappointment of losing one variety trumps the accomplishment of rooting all the other varieties.  C'est la vie.

I actually took the St Anthony out of the containers and put back into a plastic bag, but the scratch test is not looking good.

I understand your pain. I lost many good cuttings, and a few small established trees. On Wednesday I stressed out bad. Thought someone stole my Wuhan tree. My Chest hurt, my head started to spin. No one understands the time and cost we give to get a good variety. In the Fall/Winter you will probably get this replaced.  Good Luck.

I feel your pain. I also lost St Anthony & RDB. Painful to say the least, especially when its the ones you are really looking forward to. .....

I've lost so many this year.. I feel like such a newbie...  The strangest is a whole bunch (about 20) of several cultivars that just refused to root at all.. first time that's ever happened.

I think I have 7?  Saint Anthony's in 1 gallon pots....  drop me a PM see if we can work out a trade.   The extras:)

THANKS FOR THE OFFER. I pm'd you.  I love seeing photos of folk's nurseries.

Wills, I see a couple of empty pots. Taking it easy this year?
;)

Great to see fellow collectors helping each other out, I lost a Saint Anthony too...LOL   Will put Saint Anthony in my future Wish List.

Ruuting,

Yep, just being lazy:)
