Lowe's Chicago

I got this fig in the spring, in a 1 gal. pot. Put it in a 5 gal. self watering pot, picked  2 figs  today and there are 12 more. It has been raining for 2 days and highs in the 60 for the rest of the week, hopping that it will get warmer, so the rest of the figs will ripen.

Looks good. The rain is coming down here too and is not doing my figs any good. Figs blowing up with so much rain. Some varieties I have never had that problem with are splitting and souring. I hope you are able to enjoy yours in spite of the rain.

The taste was very good, sweet, soft and creamy like custard. With no splitting and souring.

It is good to see that this plant looks like what it is supposed to be. I know that the plants from Lowe's are sometimes not as labeled.
