LSU DC 1

Hello,  I have located every known LSU fig identified including a number of unknowns.  The only one I cannot find is the LSU DC 1.  Does anyone have it?  Even if you do not want to trade or sell it I would be content to know if you have it.

But even better, if you do have it and want to sell a cutting or trade for something else let me know.  A group of us are interested in it and between us we have hundreds of fig varieties with many of them rare.

If anyone has any information or leads on the DC 1 that would be appreciated as well.  Thanks!

Dead Cat 1, along with the 4-5 others from the Dead Cat series were sorry little 1ft twigs at the LSU orchard a few years ago.  Last time I was there (last summer), some were dead and the others looked pretty sickly.  I don't know if there are other clones out there.

Dr. Johnson told the story of sending out a student to take cuttings from some trees in an area set for demolition/construction, and there was a dead cat nearby, so the name was born.

I don't know if they were figs from the original O'Rourke research, or just some figs growing on campus.

I seen them too. About pencil size and 4 foot tall. They are completely gone now
