LSU Gold

I had my eye on this one and it just figures we get dumped on by rain and more to come.  This one started splitting so I picked it.  It probably needed a couple more days.  Luckily there are ten more figs.  I think I'm going to try putting some plastic bags over the pots to limit the water.  More rain tomorrow and Sunday thru Monday predicted.  Just in time to split my cherry tomatoes too.

I'm jealous!

I have a small, fairly new LSU Gold, but with no figs yet.

I can't wait for that "honey explosion" that Dan has talked about.

I guess I will wait!

Laura,

You will most likely have to wait about 3 more years on that one!

And WELCOME to the forum

3 more years!!!

Well, patience is a virtue I need to learn.

At least I'm not trying to grow apples from seeds.  That takes awhile.
