LSU Gold Breba

I had an LSU Gold breba fig today and it was a nice treat after discovering a broken branch on my Ischia Black.  It has a nice closed eye even when ripe. I think it tasted a little like a melon. It was also a little hot this week.

I thought that the LSU Gold fruit was somewhat more roundish...

It must be the 'breba' thing that is different.

Yes your fruit did not ripe in optimal conditions.
Expect better tasting in the future.
