LSU Hollier and Kadota ripen figs today!

Two days ago I noticed one of my Kadota trees had swollen from the rain.  And I looked out my bedroom window and saw a bright yellow long neck fig.  Well, I ran outside and covered both figs with green burlap strips and today after the rain, these 2 figs ripened!  Kadota was sweet but needed about 3 more days.  Hollier was spot on sweet and excellent.  I got my LSU Holliier from JR in March of this year. Mr Robin talked me into trying Hollier so I got 2 of them and boy I need to call him and thank him again!  LSU Hollier is one excellent tasting fig!  My in-ground tree is loaded and those figs will be ripening soon.  I can wait!  Enjoy my pics.
