LSU Scotts Black

My first one, nothing to write home about.  Its been cool here and the tree is only 2 years old.

I also need some help on my camera skills.

A good looking fig, congrats!
I usually take photos with the figs on a non-reflective surface/plate (like paper) and when the bright light is behind you or slightly on the side.
That way you see the colors and texture better.

Use a white cutting board as background ... and take the photos at noon in natural light.
Try to avoid using the flash from the cam.

How was the taste ?

Use a cheap white paper plate.  If you are using a camera try shooting from about 12", don't zoom, if using a phone camera, don't zoom.  This works for me, nothing special about my camera, run of the mill Canon, phone is worn out Iphone 4.

My Samsung Galaxy tablet actually takes better pictures than either of the above.
