Is LSU SCOTTS YELLOW AND LSU Gold REALLY THE SAME FIG? The look the same.

Same as LSU What???

There are LSU Scott's Yellow NOT!! figs out there.  It may be the most mislabeled LSU variety out there, closely followed by the LSU Scott's Black.  Any time I have a question on the LSU figs, I ask Brian (CAJUNB), he and DAN (Semper Ficus Dan) are the 2 most knowledgeable people out there on the LSU fig.  IN MY OPINION!!!

I HAVE CUTTING,FOR ALL THE ACTIVLY GROWING FIG FROM THE LSU RESEARCH CENTER FIELD BUT HAVE TO WAIT TILL SUMMER TOO SEE WHAT I GOT. THE NAME PLATES WERE MADE FROM WOOD AND WERE FADED. BIG TREES THEY HAVE THERE HUGE TRUNKS. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP RICHIE
