So I got to taste a Lsu Scotts yellow from my very young tree. This is supposed to be the real one and not the brandy fig that JR sells. This is the only one from my young tree, it was very sweet but not quite as figgy as the improved celeste that it is pictured with. It was a very good fig and I can't wait till the tree grows.

Well we finally get to see the real deal. Nice looking fig. Hopefully I can get my hands on one before the end of he season. Thanks for posting as many were wondering if there was a real Scott's yellow.

Ya gene, it was a little more green then I thought it would be but that may be cause its young, and I'm sure it could have gone another day or so, but I know if I would have left it I would not have gotten it, lol. As soon as it grows I can make an air layer for you but it's still a whip and probably won't be this season.
