Wish i had one. So cant help. But looks yellow not green. Ripe fig will tell the story. Post leaf pic and others will help out

I am not aware of anyone's Scott's Yellow that has green figs.  Is it a regional thing? A local thing?

I meant that its a good thing that someone didnt pass you a green variety fig as scotts yellow. Lol

Best of luck with it.  Let us know how they taste.

I only had a couple on my Scotts Yellow but they looked just like yours, I don't have the brandy fig, I have the same one Dan has, so it should be the real deal.

What is the brandy fig?

First harvest, sweet, somewhat figgy, KEEPER!!

Jerry, a few years back there was a little mix up, JR has a nursery in central La that most people here either has dealt with or knows about, well he had a fig that was called brandy/Scotts yellow, but supposedly it is not the real Scotts yellow. Someone who remembers more may chime in.

Looks AWESOME!!*

Looking at your now Danny, I don't think the neck on my Scotts Yellow was the long. It does look like a keeper nonetheless.
