LSU Thibodeaux

Anyone heard of this variety? Cant find any info.

I heard it is a large brown fig that does excellent in the south, and should be a very sweet fig. Mine hasn't produced yet.

Mine has leaves.

Mine has figs.

Canjunb, have you ever tasted it? If so, can you describe the taste?

I have what appears to be a three year old tree with a couple of very small figs.

I have not tasted any yet,but will this year,I will keep you informed.

You're way ahead of me Cajun, mine is about 3 inches tall.

hey ms Viv,my little Thibodeaux fig tree is about 3 years old  and loaded with figs, can not wait to taste them, will keep you posted.

I checked mine this morning and found it wilted. I'm afraid that fungus gnat larvae have gotten to it.

Congrats CajunB. Wish I had your kind of climate. This season the spring started off warm and I hope
every year is like this and I will have thousands of figs and new ones to sample then.
