LSU Tiger?

Does this one look more like LSU Tiger?  It's from the same tree as the ones from this post, but looks quite different from that first one I picked (post#1) or the second (post #22).

PS. The leaf directly above the fig in the first picture is from a different tree (RdB).

It looks like a nice one that was ripening up.  You didn't pick it already, did you?  LSU Tiger figs are brown when fully ripe, but they are noted to have stripes when ripening.

Yeah, I did.  It was pretty soft and we were expecting a lot of rain.  I'll try to keep my paws off the next one.. There's about 16 more to go.

Here you go.  This is what I've seen my LSU Tiger's look like.

How did that one taste?

James, here is a pic of my only LSU Tiger.  I don't have the inside pic because I ate it to fast. LOL

It did have some stripes when it started ripening.

Meghan, It tasted good.  It's still my favorite one, so far.  A little figgy and sweet, but not oversweet.

Mike & Meghan, Thanks for the pics.  The inside of this one definitely looked like the ones in Meghan's link.  I'll leave the next one one a lot longer and see if it will darken more.

It might not be ALOT longer, maybe a day or two.  And you may find that you like them best when picked a day or two early (to our standards).  It's all up to how you prefer your fig!

James, yours defenitly looks like my LSU tiger.
