Guess it was around the first week of May that I started a few airlayers. This is one of 4 that I took off and planted today.

It looks great BLB,,, great job from what i can see but I'm a "rookie" around here so I'm sure anything I say won't hold much weight, lol.

That one looks good Barry. I have 4 started on my Tiger on the 27th of June and put 2 green cuttings to root. I checked today and no roots on the air layers but the green cuttings are holding up so maybe there is a chance. On another note I also started 6 air layers on my O'Rourke and today I found one with a bunch of roots. That's just 11 days. Thanks for posting your results and the picture. Did you harvest any figs off of your Tiger?

Looking good Barry, I'd like to see the other ones. LOL

Was thinking of starting a couple but I think it's a wee bit too late here.

Gene, I haven't harvested any yet this year, too early, but last year I got a nice crop. This airlayer actually had 3 figs on it, but I took them off. I started a few green cuttings abotu a week or so ago and it looks like they are still alive, so I'm hopefull.

Rafed, I potted them all up, they are a bit wilted, guess it's a little too hot. Got them in a sheltered spot out of the sun. They are the LSU Tiger, O'Rourke, Jolly Tiger, and Vasilika Sika.

I have a Vasilika Sika.
It was in partial shade and growing some beautiful dark green leaves. As soon as I moved to a sunnier spot the top growth has FMV.

Mine has fmv showing too, but it is growing pretty good. Hoping to get a fig to taste from it this year

I've been getting a few off of my Tiger. The rains came at just the wrong time. It then dried up for a bit and the figs were doing great but then for the last 4 days it's been at least a shower a day. The figs are starting to sour again.

Are the eyes on yours open. Mine open as they are ripening letting in the water and bugs. Now my O'Rourke on the other hand stay tightly closed and haven't soured yet. The problem with them is the birds.

Trying to remember Gene, I think they were a bit more open than most of what I grow. I try to only grow closed eye varieties. To clarify I was refering to my Vasiliika when I mentioned the fmv, Tiger appears clean.
