Although it's not ready yet, a few more days, I took a picture for my records. The figs is of a good size and the tiger stripes are clearly visible. I did get to taste a few last year but not enough to really say how I like it. I remember it being good, that's all. Time will tell as I have quite a bunch of them this year.

Does it produce 2 crops for you?  I see the date on the photo is from 10/11/2011.  Since October is 4 months away...

If it does it sounds like something I would like to try - 2 crops is better than 1!!

JoAnn, last year was it's first year in the ground and it put figs on late in the season. This year it got an early start so it is to be seen if it will put on a second crop.

Joe, figs do come early here. My Celeste is starting to ripen figs also. I picked about 6 so far.
