I didn't know of the existence of Lubera, Suttons, Peretta, or Morena. It would be nice to get an expanded description of the taste (juicier) similar to the description of size, color, and growth (more round, purple-brown, bush, tree, compact, etc.).

In the first video he says once they get older and the wood is more hardened they don't need to be covered anymore in the cold. Has anyone found that to be the case? With thier trees?

Whether or not you would have to cover will depend on your climate zone. and maybe the variety of fig.

I would love to see more pictures of Morena.  Looks like BT on the outside, curious about the insides.

I am in 7b NJ. I am guessing it is atleast as cold or colder where that guy is from.

Is anyone growing Perretta?

Never really heard of that one Michael.

Both Peretta an Morena are Lubera's own varieties. Lubera is situated in Switzerland, in the Swiss part of the Rhine Valley.
The climate zone there is about 7.
I have Morena and Peretta in my garden. Morena survived two winters with light protection, Peretta one.
Both trees are still very young, but there are quite a few breba figs on their way. I' ll post pictures when they are ripe.

I have both the Peretta and Morena and am hoping I get fruit this year.
I also have the Rosetta, anything on that one?
