This fig tree is two years old. Came from Lucca Italy. Last year the fig were just OK and no splitting, a little sweet. This year they are splitting and sour. the ones that did not split were a little sweet jam like and no crunch. Not a good tasting fig, it was just OK. It may need more heat than what is here. It is not a bad looking fig.

That heavy rain last night and today was the last thing I needed. Just as my figs are ripening.

My HC are staring to split and we didn't have all the rain that you been getting

Bugs, I was surprise this season that a few varieties that had tasted ordinary last 2 seasons
turns out impressive this season. Since your tree is young, I would give it 4 seasons. Nice color
