Wow, that looks superb! Love the red color!

Your LW fig fruit looks like not fully ripe yet.

My very first ripe one (quite a while back - there should still be a pic on GW/FF),
was also with that very deep-red pulp. However, later figs turned to
light-strawberry/mostly-amber guts.

P.S. My mama LW tree (as of now) seems to be cold-dead.
Not sure if I should/want to go back to my original fig-friend source
(KK) for a new starter specimen...

Edit: I just found some oldie pics of my then still very young LW
(at that time it was still an unkown fig and not yet dubbed with the name [by KK]).

Yes Gorgi you are correct it needed a couple of more days but still tasted good. I was impatient

Right now I can eat the branches.
I need a fig fix!

Gorgi,

Those pix sure looks like my Strawberry Verte, and not anything like my LW from KK.

Yes, I am very, veeery SURE it (is/was...RIP!) my only LW specimen.
As I mentioned above, the fruit pulp tends to go amber-color as the tree matures [at least my tree].

Somewhere on the GW/FF; KK showed a pic with an array/stack
of figs that show variance.

Coming to think of it;  where are you KK? We have not read from you
for quite a while; hope all is well with you and family.

I do have a Vetre, not sure if it fruited for me, but the leaves do look
very [&totally] different.
