Super figs Vinny. Congrats!
Are these pot grown or in ground?
You must have the biggest garden in Bognor if all your varieties are in ground.
I've got a Noire de Caromb that I will post later so you can compare.

Hello Vinny,

really good looking pictures!

is it possible to aquire some cuttings from you from your Desert King and maybe Dauphine?
Since you are located in UK, this would be easier for me to import DK to Germany and I would really like to have this cultivar!
I might also have something to trade maybe. (if you don't have it already)

Vinny,
Here is my Noire de Caromb. I think yours is bigger and redder.
I put the difference down your better growing. I know I let my greenhouse get much too hot this year and this has had a noticeable effect on the size of my figs. Will try to do better next year.
The other fig is Pingo de Mel which was a wrong variety from Reads, but which has turned out not too bad.

The two pics of 11 green Figs on the cutting board are DK's. I get main crops from it every now and then.

Very nice looking figs Vinny, I was reading on another thread you wrote about figs not tasting as good in a greenhouse, Maybe the slightly reduced sunlight?

Shame to have to move heavy pots around, it'd be nice to plant some in root control bags and leave them be inside a large greenhouse.

Cheers, Steve
