Madeira black pix!

My first in possesion,Madeira black fruit.
I had 3 ripe fruits at the end of September, but squierrel got it before me.
This time I was first to get it .
It was very good tasting with somewhat hard skin.
I am sure the ones that the squierrels got were much much better tasting, because the time frame, and because they were better ripe.

It does not look Black. Probably because it is late at the end of the season in your area and may be because (possibly) the first time for your new tree.
I have one rooted this year but there no sign of any fruit on it. Hopefully next summer if it is a good summer like this year.

Congrats Vasile im sure the ones the squirls stole were darker and more flavourfull. I too noticed my dark figs were fairly light once temps cooled down. My last Black Madeira plant died last week, thats #6 BM gone this year, think im giving up on BM for the time being.

It doesn't turn black with the lack of sun. But I got most of my BM crop early september and the skin was soft and dark. I I picked a couple a few days ago theat had tougher skin but still very sweet.

Mine turned black and were just amazing.  A greenhouse helps them ripen.
