This caught me by surprise and i found different.
While shooting pictures for some post just a while ago i saw this .
 Leaf had bug or something else damage it.
I saw a bud tip poking through the crack in this leaf pictured from below.

A tree growing through itself, now that is cool.

My Madeira don't even have figlets yet this year.  They have new growth but it looks like not even a chance of hope for a fig. 

I had about 6 or 7 figlets on my first year madeira cutting, i had to take them off, cool picture!

Here is a little better picture now 2 days later and showing more of that lateral branch poking thru from top and beneath.

Some growth as well from 2 days past.

She looks very productive.

Its doing well i just let it grow and grow and leave all figs on some will fall eventually but some should ripen as well.
They came on late before but now tree start to adjust itself and i let it.
