Malta Black

Got home today after being away for 5 days and discovered some swollen figs. I was squeezing this Malta Black and unfortunately picked it by accident a couple days early. It is a 3 year old tree and this is the first ripe fig this season off of it. Last year they were much smaller and were very sweet with nice berry flavor so I expect good things out of this tree in the future. 35 grams almost ripe with tight eye. Flavor was good but a touch watery due to early pick.
