Malta Black,Marseilles vs blk,Tacoma Violet,and Gino,Pixes

I have rhese pixes but they do not reflect the normal color ,pigment of these cultivars, because for the last 4 days,it was raining, and was cloudy every day, when these figs was suppose to finish getting ripe.
They all look close,in color, browny, that is,butis not their true color.
In other Sommer,They will be Blue purple,Black, violet, blue violett.
As for the Flavor and taste:
They are all excellent tasting.
If I only had room to grow only one fig,any of these will do.
They all are a little different in flavor, but just as tasty.

Herman,
My congrads for producing the Malta Black fruit sooo quick!
Looks like it is a nice fig (somewhat) like a 'glorified' Celeste.
After me chopping mine down (reproducing it - I just distributed 3 more
- you know who you are); now I look forward to taste my very first fruit...

Hi George :Thank you>
Yes it looks like a Celeste but it was 45 grams,in weight,so is twice the size.
It is true that they have more water in them, because of the rain, but still they are larger in size.
I think this is an excellent cultivar, and do not drop any figs like Celeste does sometime.
Happy Gardening
