Last year,early in spring,i had 2 cuttings of a "black fig",from(near) Zabbar,Malta.Today,the little plant gave me one THE BEST FIGS I have ever put in my mouth...A totally 10+ for this one!!!How should I name this one??(leaves are huge-12+ inches) Thanks for watching.

I think you should name it, "Sending it to my Ohio neighbor to the South" :-D  It's a beautiful fig.

Molto Malta (Great Maltese) will be my choice.

I think if you are sending it to your Ohio neighbor to the south, it gets way-laid about halfway there.

The pulp looks really tasty indeed.  The skin looks very thin.  Do you have any idea how it does in rain?
