Great to hear, Dan.  Looking forward to hearing how mine tastes compared to your other varieties.  I've no clue, since I haven't had but a couple flavors myself.

LOL, the coffee cup is there for size comparison.  Hoping to get 1 fig from it this fall.  The way it's growing, I just might.

Looks great, you've done a nice job getting  that one going

It has three figs on it that I left.   It enjoyed the extra space I gave it.  Still growing like a weed.

i heard it tastes even better than i looks. sort of like Black Madeira, VdB, RdB, and all others rolled into one.

All the old leaves on mine have curled now, I think because they were formed under low light and higher humidity they weren't accustomed to the hot dry weather had which is when it started as the new leaves are fine.

Mine has been really productive even though it started as a cutting in November, I have had to knock off more than 20 figs and that's with 10 on it already and I see more coming, is this normal for this variety to be so productive in your experience?

Mine failed,
Looked to buy some more cuttings but George is unable for the time being.

Oh good ole Ebay;)  Just a matter of time.

Anyone have a plant for sale?

I got one cutting from Jon last Feb. Gnats killed mine. It had some roots and small leaves already.

Pete,

I'm drawing up a plan on how to keep the gnats away 100%.
I'll post my plan as soon as I have it all together. I will need opinions.

Rafed,

I hope it doesn't involve shotguns.

Beauty of a figlet Dan, very nice!

Funny, I was just thinking about Monty Python's mosquito hunt.  Think it involved a bazooka and a machine.

My wife sent me these photos. It did this almost overnight. They swelled and turned dark. I won't be back to the plant until Friday. With the heat we're now having, it should be closer. The next photo will be a harvested fig shot. 10 months from a 4" twig to this. I can't believe it.
