Dan, I assume you took both photos on Oct. 31, correct? If so, then a lot of figs ripened very late or didn't quite get ripe. The one fig I left on my very young MB finally ripened about 10 days ago. It was pretty good considering the conditions under which it ripened. However, if this variety is that late then I am kind of in a borderline zone to make it worthwhile to grow (without a greenhouse). I would guess you are even more zone-challenged for this variety. I would be interested to hear your thoughts about this variety for zones 6 and 7.
