My first fig of the 2014 season and man is it a good one. This Maltese Falcon Breba is excellet. It has a sweet berry with just a little seed crunch. I will start the season off with a 9 on a 1-10 scale. I can't wait to see the main crop on this baby this year. Enjoy the pics.

Beautiful breba Mike, makes me sad I lost mine a couple of years back. Never got to taste it. Glad others are growing and enjoying it, I'm sure in time it will make its way back into my collection

Look very tempting mike...... And very pretty....
The shape and colour is look like abicou fig in my country ( if it's grow in the high altitude place but if it grow in low altitude place then the shape turn to round ) but the size is not that big... This one is a lot bigger.... Someday I'll have this variety..... Dream high....

Hi Jdsfrance, it is in a 10 gal pot and it is a third year tree with just one more breba.

Beautiful fig and tree, Mike.  I'd be rooting at least 1 cutting a year so to never lose that variety!
