Maltese Figs

My Uncle has come across some fig plants and has aquired cuttings for me. My uncle is not an English speaker so it is hard for my father to try to put these into English.  Does anybody know the below types of figs.

bajtar fig (green figs) in June
tin fig (white or dark figs) in August.
farkizzan fig (small and oblong shape).

Thanks

The 2nd one ' farkizzan " sounds like   "Ficazana"  or  "Fracazzano".
You can check under    http://figs4fun.com/Varieties.html

Thanks for the info and pictures.  Are these self pollenating or need the wasp?  Thanks again

My father just emailed me and said Tin San Gwann - Saint John's fig.  He was telling me that the maltese tend to shorten things like crazy.  So I was searching Tin like a mad man. THanks Now I can put the pieces together.

Thanks. I am even more excited to get the cuttings. Tin = fig in maltese. I am so ignorant of my cultural background. Thanks again.

The first one has to be BAJTAR TA SAN GWANN, which is also available to look at on the figs4fun variety page, but unfortunately there is no info.  Great pics though.  It's definitely a green in the pics.

I'm confused. There are photos on the encanto varietal page. Wouldn't those be indicative of which one Jon has? Or were those pics from a different source? Did you mean we need to see pics of the one that Kevin has?
Well anyways it's fun to learn about these things from you Alan. Are you Maltese?

I am but have never lived in Malta nor can I speak the language. My father uses tin for fig. As for spelling there was a moderization of the language, which would perhaps explain the variations in spelling....I know my grandmothers last name orginally was spelled xini but changed cini. I learned this when I was filling out my papers for citizenship....
