MARTINETE or PÉROLA



Common type fig, reported in old horticultural works as being one of the finest table fruit, with a fresh fruity flavor, agreeable sweetness and a rich syrupy pulp very pleasing to the eye.

Looks like a nice variety, although it is a common type, it probably tastes even better when pollinated, right?

Of ALL figs I have shown this season - (exception made for the brebas) - samples of pulp&seeds have been taken for the sink/float test and ALL  made it to the bottom.
You know what this mean ...

what i need to look for is not cold hardy figs, but cold hardy fig wasps.. lol lovely figs, francisco.
