Nelson, I am either a stubborn or slow learner or a combination. Over the last 2 to 3 yrs I am finding that not all that glitters is gold. I found many supposed to be high quality figs are either too ordinary or not suitable to my zone or my taste preference is at a different level. As is, I am mostly consolidating & this focus have unearth many gems this season like Yugo Yellow, Gypsy, MaryLane, Red German etc. Even less knowns like Nardi Blk, Vincenzo, Large Greek Blk and Enrico taste better than many, many figs and these variants are home ground variants.
I started an air layer on MaryLane for you and moved plant into greenhouse.
