Nice looking fig Martin, how would you describe the flavour compared to your Hardy Chicago?

Nelson i dont want to deter anyone from trying this type or any other type i grow.
The tree is young but to me it was average tasting and may be good fig in future if i was to give it more time.When i first tasted Hardy Chicago, Ronde, Sals, VdB for the very first time they were good from the very first one for example.

Thanks for sharing the photos Martin. When I first tasted the fig I didn't think much of it, but when I tried it dead ripe it was really good. It has a sharper flavor, more acid when not dead ripe.

We just picked our first Mavra Sika from a tree planted in ground this season.

The flavor was excellent.  I am very happy with this tree.

We have been having hot dry weather, which probably helped, but this is a great fig for certain.
