I have to ask. Why the name garlic mike ??

Because Mike grows awesome garlic.

Very nice. My sister has garlic that was, planted years ago and still grows there. Huge garlic

Hello again, lol.

Too much garlic and cutting back for figs.

I am on .7 acre, yes, less than 1, and have @ 1600 plants in the ground, 18 types I think. 15 fig plants went in the ground, large garden, pool, and somehow a house and front yard. Add the fig plants in buckets I have posted and the wife can legally kill me I think.

Alive by Karma and thanks to Doug today lol

How many acres is garlic

Zero

My whole shebang is less than three quarters of an acre.

@15' rows, 6-7" apart per plant and per row. 12 rows = 6-7' =@ 360 plants x @4 1/2 = @ 28x60' ish.

Kind of tired to be exact, lol

I only have 2.3 acres.
But I have room for 50 more figs at least at 6-8 feet apart 10-12 feet between rows.
I would like to buy more land with it running up to a huge lake behind me but it is
all woods.
I have more than I can keep up with now.
But Im out in the woods country where I belong.

I have four acres of woods. Dead center is house. Each side of house i cleared about a acre on either side for fig field. Rest is woods. Have a neighbor who clears land for a living. He changes us 50 dollers a hour since he drives his equipment to our house instead of having to trailer his equipment to job. He digs trees out instead of cutting them down. No stumps. Then box blades it. Love being back in the woods like you. Hunt rabbits in my pj's no one knows no difference. ;-)

That's the way to go guys! No wonder your wife is mad at you Mike haha

My property was all covered by trees, we had 5 cut down in front yard and huge stumps removed.
Then I have cut down all the trees that could get up rooted in a storm and hit our house.
Then I kept clearing the land by hand year after year.
You could not even walk through the briars and brush on half the property when I bought it.
Now its all out in the open with no trees blocking my solar panels or figs.
:)

That sounds great Doug!  I am hoping in the next few years to get some land so that i can start planting fruit trees in ground, and eventually put up some passive solar greenhouses for overwintering figs and maybe even in ground fig trees inside. It must make you very happy to see your trees when you look out your front window.

Richie, if you can get enough cuttings, count me in. Thanks!

The plant arrived today in great shape.

I will give it a couple days before re-planting.

Thanks so much Richie, Mike.

Mike. Glad it made it. And in good shape. :-)

My plant arrived in good shape, too, Richie. Thanks again!

Did I miss the bus?!?! Got $ if you got more cuttings.I live in the woods too Y'all! Lots of room for more figs would love to have a banana Fig pig in the collection. The wine recipe you gave me turned out great Richie got the best Muscadine wine in town.

Hi! I know that I am waaaayyyy down the line but just in case you get some cuttings in the future - may I be blessed with one?

Thanks for doing this!

I would love to be on the list. I understand that I'll have to wait until you have more available. Thanks in advance!

Hi figpig, if there are any cuttings that remain after those on the list I also would like some. This is a great offer from you.

Ok. Every one. I have to stop the requests. I am returning to my uncles house soon i will let him know that there are alot of requests and see what he gives. I have just a few rooted cuttings and then im out. I will see how he feels about this situation
Sorry to put a stop to it.
