McConkey Co. - nursery supplies

I've purchased from them several times, especially when they had a distribution center 35 miles away.  I just thought I'd share some info on them, I received a postcard in the email from them (two actually, one for my nursery and one for my farm, each with different sales tax) offering the following:
$15 off purchase of $100 or more - code FIFTEEN100 Expires 3/31
$80 off purchase of $500 or more - code EIGHTY500 Expires 3/31

They have a good selection of media, pots, and various supplies.  One great thing about when they had a local distribution center is that I could buy a damaged case of goods at a big discount.

Harvey, my objection to them is that most of the stuff is made in China. Their prices are good, but don't yet know about the quality. I am just a little tired of Chinese "knock-offs" of American brands and products that look OK but in the end do not have the same quality of materials.

My variable speed greenhouse cooling fan is some U.S. brand.  When I needed just a small amount of more treepots, I got them from them once since their price was the same as ordering from Stuewe.  And Sunshine media is domestic.  I am tired of importing too much from China also.  Where do you get supplies from?  I'd like to compare.  Thanks.

A number of years ago a friend and I purchased some really large black plastic pots from them. They were of high quality and I just checked and they were made in the US (WA state).

I obviously don't know about all of their products, or if they have made changes in their sources. I believe their site has an 800 number to call if you wanted to verify where something was made.
