We have beaten back several infestations in CA. I spent about 6 months last year in quarantine zone. Couldn't sell most of my plants, and none of my fruit. They supposedly enjoy 100+ kinds of fruits grown in CA. They would be the end of the citrus, grape, stone fruit, fig and other ag industries here in CA. Probably a similar issue in FL.
