Mediterraean Fig

Jon, tell us about this fig.  It looks good!

I would like to know about this one also.

It is the favorite fig of the CRFG's Avocado Guru. I knew nothing more until it fruited this year. Fruits ripened near Christmas and were decent at that time. They had flushed in mid-August after a cold week that started to induce dormancy, hence the late ripening. Expect them to be even better when they ripen in summer.

What fig is this exactly?

Thats funny I just received my cuttings in the mail today  can't wait to get them in the moss tomorrow  thanks Jon 

What a vague name for a fig!
It's like saying "American pawpaw", most of figs are "Mediterranean".
When I read the subject, I thought to find another thing.

Not at all!  Mediterranean evokes a sense of paradise, at least in N America.
